The Food Section is a James Beard Award and National Magazine Award-winning magazine about Southern food and culture. As the Nashville Bureau Chief, Mark Blankenship told surprising stories about food culture in Music City. In 2024, his work was honored with a Phila Award for contributions to Nashville's foodways.
